Window Washing Business

Do you want to own your own business? Are you tired of searching for a quality business you can start and only finding overpriced opportunities, expensive franchises and get rich quick schemes? If so, then this page might be for you…

Discover how a full time college student broke into the window cleaning business and squeegeed in over $87,000 in sales in his first year.

“In just a few minutes time, you will discover how you can easily duplicate his success …and realistically earn $50,000 - $100,000 your first year in business … even if you have NEVER cleaned a window in your life!”

If you read the headline above, you’d be excused for being a little skeptical… a “full time college kid made $87,000 in one year?” Sounds like a story you’d read in an entrepreneur or business magazine… and a highly inflated story, at that.

Yet, it’s completely true…how do I know? Because that kid was me!

You see, my name is Tanner Larsson and in the spring of 2002 I was attending my first year of college and struggling to make ends meet as a receiving clerk for a local construction supply company, while trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing with my life…Sound familiar?

Now I’m not going to bore you with one of those rags to riches fairytales, because it wouldn’t be true. In fact I was making ends meet just fine, but I was struggling to make enough money to enjoy the kind of life I wanted…you know, the typical American dream…fancy cars, nice vacations, big houses.

I had no idea what I wanted to do other than have enough financial freedom to pursue the lifestyle I dreamed of.

It was at this point, that I, quite by accident stumbled onto the window cleaning industry. In early 2002 I saw an opportunity in the newspaper to buy an established window cleaning company in my area. To make a long story short, I tried to buy the company, but ultimately could not meet the seller’s asking price and the deal fell through, however the glimpse into the window cleaning world was enough to pull me in.

How to Make 1 Million Dollars

Would you like to know how to make 1 million dollars? There are at least 1 million ways to make 1 million dollars. But you will need to devise an action plan to make it a reality, and to implement that action plan will require some effort, possibly beyond your comfort zone. Let’s break it down into numbers, so as to put the numbers and the effort into perspective:

You can make 1 million dollars ($1,000,000.00) by selling a million copies of something electronically on the Internet for a net profit of $1 a piece. If the cost to produce, license, or reproduce that product is zero, such as an e-book or an affiliate commission, then all you have to do is focus on mass-marketing your product to a wide enough audience so that you can find a million people to sell your product or service to. If your conversion rate is 1%) that means that your website would need to receive one hundred million clicks (100,000,000), out of which if 1% of them were to result in sales, you would make 1 million dollars that way. But what if your click through ratio was itself 1%? That means that your website would need to receive ten billion page views, out of which 1% would have to result in clicks, which is 100 million clicks. Out of those 100 clicks, 1 million people will buy your product at $1 a piece.

Number One Tactic For Website Traffic

Did you realize that thousands of website operators use a
simple technique to generate targeted visitors to their
websites without paying a dime in advertising? It’s true.

In fact, the technique works so well that many of them
don’t want you to discover how they get those thousands of
website visitors and make so many sales on virtual “auto-
pilot.”

Their method?

Creating tightly focused articles other people publish in
their ezines (online magazines and email newsletters) and
post on their websites. This method rates so powerful that
some even call it “the web’s best kept traffic secret.” Read the rest of this entry »

Increase Website Revenue

The 3 Key To Increase Your Website Revenue:

1) Increase traffic
2) Increase the price of product and add upsells and backend product in books.
3) Increase the conversion rate so your get more money with the same costs.

How to measure and calculate your conversion rate for your website or product.

Your conversion rate = total actions to sale  / unique visitors x 100

Pretty simple stuff. How long or how many actions to sale should you go for before you start running your calculations? Its totally up to you but I like to do it at 100 actions to sale. Keep in mind though that you want to only use unique visitors in your calculations of your conversion rate because hits can come from and and everywhere.

What should you use to gather your information and then figure it out? Well there are lots of ways but awstats comes with most hosting packages and will get you started off quick and easy. If you run an adwords campaign then Google analytics works great but has some lag time. Read the rest of this entry »

Step By Step On How Infinite Content Can Sell

Infinite Dollars by Andrew L. Witherspoon

The internet is all about content which is a slightly
fancy term for information.  Articles, and anything
else in written form can be found online.  Every site
must have content to make money and most sites and
programs will pay you a good sum for the original and
unique content that you create.

You have probably seen ads everywhere on how to make
money from your content and even tried a few, most of
which fall short of your dreams of overnight success.
Here is the reason why.

Everyone is out to make money for themselves.  Unless
you operate solely for yourself, you will always get
the short end of the stick, or dollar in this case.
This can not be changed unless you have your own site,
content and product. If you already have those things
then this article is not for you. This article is for
those who do not have those things or do not wish to
have them but still want to make money online with
their writing.

The best way to make money with your content with no
site and no product is to use affiliate programs.  I
know you have heard this a million times but it really
does work.  The reason most people do not succeed is
because of greediness and lack of patience.

In order to succeed with affiliate marketing you MUST
confine yourself to a few programs that are related
and you MUST give your article marketing time to work.
How much time depends on how well you write your
content and how good the product you are promoting is
perceived to be.

Here is a simple step by step outline of how it works:

Pick a niche (mine is writing). Join an affiliate
program that has at least 3 products in your niche ( I
use clickbank). Write articles related to your niche
and the products you will promote. Insert you
affiliate links in your articles, preferably at the
end. Publish your articles everywhere you can publish
it. Sit back and watch. Rewrite the articles if they
do not seem to be working after about 2 weeks. Once an
article is working, leave it alone and look for more
places to publish. Write more articles to promote your
affiliate products. After a few months, choose another
related product. Repeat, wash and rinse.

Once you make a few dollars, you may want to get a
site and an auto responder.

Your own site will help you promote your content as
well as cut down on affiliate link theft with redirect
urls.  A personal site will also open up the doors to
more ways for you to monetize your content, such as
contextual and image link advertising.  An auto
responder will make you more money on your articles by
referring people to pre made messages that promote
your affiliate links 24/7 when they sign up for your
information series or whatever you may decide to offer.

There is good money to be made with affiliate
marketing if you put in the work and have the
patience.  You will not get rich overnight, but you can
make enough to afford a few luxuries and perhaps more.
Soon you will decide to get 100% of the profits and
create your own product, but that is another story or
article.

MY FINAL TIP

If you are unsure of your writing skills for right now
do not worry.  There are tons of resources, tools and
software at
http://www.componga.com/option/ctinfinity.html that
can help you to get started.

MY FINAL ADVICE

Do not get caught up in the rush for money.  Take your
time and eventually, everything that you are doing
will add up. Concentrate on one goal at a time and
once you are doing well with that, plan on moving
forward.  Not doing this will make you frustrated and
cause failure due to a lack of expected responses.  Do
not destroy your plans and dreams before they even
have a chance to become real.  Slow and steady wins
the race.

Increase Your Ebook Prices and Increase Your Income

Are you just starting in your online business…or have
you in business for years online?  It really doesn’t
matter.  We all have to start somewhere…and the
majority of online entrepreneurs make a very similar
mistake.

For their first product, they create a $7 ebook…or
maybe they go way out on a limb with a $10 product.
Their concept is that with such a low price, it should be
easy to sell.

The truth is that you may or may not increase sales with
a low price.  I’ve tested prices and seen $19.95 do better
than $9.95 at times.  I’ve sold other products better at
$197 than they did at $47.  The most important aspects
are the real value and the perceived value of the product.

Here’s the rule you have to remember:
Good marketing can never beat bad math!

If your goal is $1,000 a week, you have to sell 100 copies
of that $10 product.  If you want $10,000 this month,
that’s 1,000 sales.  That’s a ton of sales!

Do the math!  Your goal might be to earn a million dollars
online.  If you’re selling $10 items, that’s 100,000 sales.
Wow…that’s a lot of customers.  If you’re selling $1,000
items, you only need 1,000 customers.

What if you were selling a $10,000 product?  Now you only
need 100 sales to reach your goal.  Don’t believe anyone
would buy that price?  That definitely would…and do…if
you provide them with enough value.

What if you sell 10 of your $10 product this week, you make
$100.  On that $1,000 product, you made $10,000.  Can you
live on $100?  Not likely.  Can you live on $10,000 a week?
I surely hope so, or we need to take a serious look at
your lifestyle!

What about customer service?  Taking care of 100,000
customers takes a large staff.  You only need a fraction
of the customer service staff with 1,000 customers.  In
addition, I’ve found the higher ticket customers in
general are more polite and request less refunds.

No matter what you’re selling, you still have to produce
sales copy.  You still have to write Adwords ads. You
still have to create your email follow-ups.  You still
have to find your affiliate partners.  With the higher
ticket items, you make more money for the same effort.

Why should you even have a low ticket item?  It’s a
lead generator.  That’s all it is.  Whenever I see a
product under $50, I immediately think lead generator
and wonder where the real profits are in the business.

The only problem left is how do you move up to higher
ticket items.  The first key is to constantly look for
ways to add more value to what you’re currently offering.
In addition, look for ways to also add to perceived
value of the product (sometimes called the thud factor).

The second key is to target affluent customers instead of
those who have no money.  Pick up a copy of the Robb
Report and similar magazines.  Visit country clubs in
your area.  Go visit higher scale stores.

I found targeting people with money very difficult at
first, because I had nothing before I started in business.
It was hard to imagine people spent $5,000 on golf
clubs, went to $25,000 marketing conferences, and paid
$250,000 for a membership to a golf club.

Yet, that’s one of the biggest changes you can make…a
change in your mindset.  In most businesses, people are
willing to spend money to get what they want.  And these
are some of the best customers you can ever have…if you
focus on them and deliver exactly what they’re looking for.

Drive 18 Times More Traffic To Your Site

Let me set the record straight on one of the biggest
misleading understandings of article submissions.  Very
few article marketer’s really know how or why to get the
most out of their article marketing campaigns.  Many know
the true value of article submissions, but there are many
false ideas in the marketplace about article marketing.

Many article marketers fall prey into believing that one
article published in many sites, ezines, and newsletters
will benefit them by bringing in lots of traffic.  Well,
basically this idea is really only partially correct.
Yes it does help to get your word out to many places, but
there is a big difference between getting the same content
out to many places and getting unique content to many
places.

As most of us know Google is the king when it comes to
search engines.  Unfortunately sending the same article to
many Websites, ezines, and newsletters will not help you
with Google, but actually hurt you in the long run.  Why
you ask?  Becuase of Google’s “Duplicate Content Filter”.
Google’s duplicate content filter will screen out multiple
versions of your same article and will leave you with a
handful of inbound links to your site.  Inbound links to
your site are a key factor in search engine ranking.  The
more inbound links, the better your ranking.

Don’t be disappointed though. There are a couple of ways
you can beat this thing.  One way is to get enough sleep
for a week because your gonna need it when you have to sit
down and start writing hundreds, if not thousands, of
different article versions for you to submit.  Not too
practical is it?  I didn’t think so.  The other way is to
use a powerful, automated article submission software that
submits a unique article version to each publisher at the
click of a mouse. Say what?! Yes, that is correct. Article
Pro Software automatically submits a unique article to
hudreds of built in publishers at the click of a mouse.
I don’t know of any other article submission software that
provides such awesome features!

Yes there is one such article submission software that I
know of that is so powerful it can accomplish this daunting
task by filling out just one simple form.  Article Pro
Software creates a unique article every time.   By writing
only three different versions of your article, Article Pro
Software will randomly select paragraphs, keeping the same
format, and compile them into a unique article.  You can
produce literally hundreds of different article versions,
or thousands depending on the number of paragraphs.  The
“Duplicate Content Filter” is no longer a worry.

By submititng the same article to various publishers it
has been proven that the 300 inbound links generated
diminished to approximately 16 inbound links after several
weeks of review.  You basically loose 18.75 times or 1875%
effectiveness.  Article Pro software will increase your
profitabilty by that 1875% because of the unique articles
it submits.  If you have 300, 400, or 500 inbound links you
will retain those inbounds links.  Google sees each of your
articles as unique and will show them all in your search
results.  The more inbound links, the more traffic. The
more traffic the more sales.  Article Pro Software is a
powerful and awesome article marketing tool.  There is no
other article submission software available that packs
these features.

This is the most powerful article submission strategy
available to increase your overall efffectiveness of all
you article marketing campaigns.  Now that’s a benifit all
article marketer’s should take notice of.
