			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://commandobootcampcalgary.com/images/angled-bootcamp.gif" class="alignleft" alt="boot camp logo" /> Drop in&#8217;s are only available by permission to those that have done boot camp in the past and are in reasonable shape. You must do a month of boot camp before you qualify to do drop ins or it would slow the group down when we run as they have already built some of a base fitness level. Each month we go through a process of getting stronger and then step back at the beginning of each month to go at it again. If you can run for two minutes and then do 10 burpees without chucking your guts, you should be good to go for a drop in.</p>

<p><strong>A Few Things To Remember:</strong></p>
<p>1) You MUST not have any injuries and be game for just about any physical activity. You do not need to be a fitness champ by any means (just be able to jog) but you cannot have any injuries that I will have to work around.</p>
<p>2) Drop in&#8217;s are $25/class cash.</p>
<p>3) We leave running at the designated time. If you arrive late, we won&#8217;t be there.</p>

<p>This is one reason I provide video demonstrations of the exercises and other tools for you so that you can practice them in privacy if need be.</p>

<p>Our workouts are scalable. <b>What does scalable mean?</b> It means that we can adjust EVERYTHING so that EVERYONE gets the workout they need. <p>I have known Ray through circle of friends for a many years and he was always telling me to come work out with him. I finally got up the nerve and joined his CommandoCardio in June 2009. I did his camp for 4 months and saw so many results in such a short time. While I have always been an active guy and have done various sports my whole life I was not int the shape I was years ago. I was for sure dreading the first class as I had not done anything for many years and knew that I was about to have my butt handed to me on platter. Yes it was handed to me a few times ok many times. I had issues walking the next day and I hurt in places I never new existed but it was a good hurt as I knew my body was getting the work out it so much desired and needed. </p>
<p>I feeling like the old healthy me again and I loved it. Ray and the other Commando members inspired and pushed me to do whatever was thrown at me. Sometimes excelling, sometimes stumbling and sometimes making me think WOW I never knew I had that in me.</p>
<p> I noticed my body getting definition quickly, felt stronger and I noticed my lung capacity becoming larger as the classes went on. Ray made working out fun and exciting each session which was a big thing for me as I hate the gym atmosphere.</p>
<p>I always looked forward to Mon and Thurs as I knew I was going to work out and push myself to better my body and health level. I would highly recommend Rays CommandoCardio to anyone who needs that extra push by someone who may be hard at times but he does it cause he wants you to succeed and become the best you can be. In April I am turning 40 and I want to be in the best shape of my life in my 40s. So here I come BURPIES, 30-30-30 and all the other fun stuff Ray has in store for us.</td>

<p>P.S. Questions received answered below:</p>
<p>There are questions about a loading dock so I&#8217;m not sure if that means people want to store stuff or not.<br />
Either way the floor space has to be left empty and as is for the others that sub lease the space<br />
if that is a consideration to your decision to sub lease.</p>
<p>Here are the answers to more questions and thank you for  asking:<br />
1) The $850/month for 4 hours floor time/week includes operating costs.<br />
2) Space is shared with several users but only one person for any time slot or monthly reserved times<br />
is in the building.<br />
3) There is a sliding garage door but no loading dock<br />
4) Rear parking lot is fenced and private and about 9000 square feet.<br />

Well guys / gals</p>
<p>I have had a few people who have asked me a few times now  about the indoor &#8220;bootcamps &#8221; which I attend a minimum 3 times per week and they really are something that I would recommend if you have had the desire or curiosity to try one or even to come and watch .<br />

A friend of mine ( Ray Burton  of Building Bodies ) is offering an open house on October 15, 2011 from 9:30 am to 12 at his indoor facility to which you can come and participate  in or watch for FREEEEEEE. And keep in mind that he has also extended 7 day free trial to all City Of Calgary employees on our intranet website  :</p>

<p>I know that the idea of Bootcamps seem scary to everyone when they first hear about them , but he will not try to get you to do something that you cannot do &#8211; instead he modifies the exercise so that you will get full benefits. And I know that many will always try to compete with others, but  don&#8217;t ; only take yourself to your own personal limits . Once he knows you better and your limitations , he will know how much further he can push you, even if you don&#8217;t know yourself . And the fellow bootcampers there are fun too &#8211; great support and comradery and they come from all sizes, ages and ranges of capabilities .</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When we first started, I had one advanced boot camp, one beginner boot camp and a VERY beginner boot camp that was limited to only 8 people.</p>
<p>I really thought this was going to be the best for clients but something funny kept happening.</p>
<p><strong>After a month or two, the beginners kept becoming advanced! </strong> Then I couldn&#8217;t label the class beginner anymore because those people weren&#8217;t. So where was I supposed to fit all the people that were worried they wouldn&#8217;t be able to keep up?</p>
<p>No Where.</p>
<p>What has been working awesome is instead of asking people to label themselves as beginners or advanced and attend separate classes, we simply modify exercises and intensity based on your fitness level.</p>
<p>This way, everyone gets to play together and the beginners get motivated by what they see the advanced people doing. <strong>Because given enough time and effort&#8230; you can be advanced too.</strong></p>
